(December 7-January 11) This is the first of many times we will offer this class. Our hope is to offer it for
the first four weeks of each quarter. It is designed especially for our newcomers to help them learn more about
what we believe, our directions for the future, and how they can be involved. It will also be open to members to
allow our newcomers an opportunity to connect with others. The class will be limited to 20 spots. Because of the
holidays, this first run will go for six weeks. We will offer it again in March.

Lectio Divina is the Latin phrase for "Divine Reading." It is the traditional Christian practice of selecting a
text of Scripture, reading, meditating, and reflecting on that text. It is a way of studying, listening to, and
praying the Word. It also develops habits of listening--to God and each other.
