About Us

• We are a fellowship of people from diverse backgrounds; but we are finding a common need from our sinful past and a common joy in our salvation through Jesus.
• We are committed to the continuing study of the scriptures that we might know the God of the Bible and His Son, Jesus Christ.
• We are a people being changed by the Holy Spirit - learning to hold on to the lasting values of Jesus that transform our living and our relationships; and learning to let go of cultural values that have robbed us and our children of meaningful living.
• We treasure the traditions of our heritage that have encouraged us to grow strong and productive in Christ; but we refuse to be bound to traditional methods as though our security in Christ were dependent on them.
• Our assemblies are noted for harmonious singing and joyful praise (we don’t use instruments on Sunday mornings); thoughtful celebration of the Lord’s Supper each Sunday; preaching that is Bible centered with life application; and a friendly environment that welcomes the searcher, the wounded, and those looking for a home.
• We have a long history of caring ministry to the greater Houston area and to missions in Africa, Croatia, and the Ukraine.
